Parker Fountain Pen Converter Slide Type

Parker Slide Converter (or Standard/Budget Converter)—is Parker’s base-level push-pull converter. Unlike screw-twist piston designs, it relies on a direct manual slider tab to operate the internal seal.

Key features:

• Mechanism: Slide-action push/pull plunger (non-threaded piston).
• Materials: All-plastic clear barrel with a black plastic sliding tab and end collar.
• Capacity: Approx. 0.45 ml to 0.5 ml (Slightly lower volume than twist-piston variants due to internal slider housing).
• Fitment: Standard Parker proprietary connection hub. Fits modern Parker models including Jotter, Vector, IM, Urban, and 45.

How to use:

1. Extend: Push the black slider tab all the way down toward the clear nozzle.
2. Submerge & Draw: Insert the pen nib into ink, then manually pull the slider tab straight back up to fill the body.
3. Purge: Push the slider down slightly (1-2 drops) to clear trapped air before wiping the nib.
