• The "Ukanmuri" Shape: Named after the Japanese kanji radical 宀 (ukanmuri), which resembles a "roof" or "crown" shape.  
• Spine-Free Clamping: Unlike standard clips that press down directly on a book's spine or center crease, the arched shape straddles the spine. It holds the outer edges of two pages without creasing or damaging the binding.
